Eleven and a half days to go...
Eleven and a half days to go until what you might say. The 1st of September. The day that brings to the end the 3 days of assignments, lab reports and midsemester test, and the first day of Spring!
Next week begins the dreaded week 7. Biochemistry midsemester test at 6pm on the Wednesday, this is after having a biochem lecture at 9am and another one at 3pm with nothing in between. Thursday is the day that 2 major assignments are due, as well as a physiology lab report and it is also the cut off for a set of online MCQs. Friday is my day off, but the largest biochem prac report is also due then. So I would preferably want to have the report finished by Thursday.
So the 1st of September means this is all over and Spring has begun.
Spring means:
- The tree outside my window grow its green leaves again.
- Blue, cloud free skies and sunny days.
- I can lie outside in the sun and pretend to work.
- Shorts and skirt will make an appearance more frequently.
- Going to the beach on a Sunday afternoon, even though the water is too cold to swim in.
- Eating icypole (the ones in the plastic) without your fingers freezing.
- It will be lighter at 7am.
- Summer is just around the corner.
....Only eleven and a half days to go.
So get out there and enjoy the first of September as much as I'm going to.

Ah Spring is here already! You must live in the wrong place.
Today is shorts weather here, and it's also time to mulch the garlic. Sorry you can't join in all the fun. So keep counting down the days, watching that tree outside your window and perservering with all that exciting work....aren't you glad you are not a procastinator.
Oh, I'm a procrastinator alright. This post wouldn't be here if I wasn't. Even Kat is convinced that she's having a bad effect on me. But there is no need for concern at the moment.
Hehe, EVERYONE's a procrastinator deep down...just some people are better at keeping it there than others ;) It's shorts weather here too today (well...was). I spent half the day today (and yesterday) outside fiddling with a new toy in my car...took 3/4 of that time working out how to pull it apart...will post that in my blog soon anyway - enjoy your 11 days!
