Mr Fatso aka Edward or Eddie

I just thought I should give a bit of an update on dear little cute Edward, our pet lamb. Check out my previous blogs on him here: Edward and This Morning's Stupid Alarm Clock.

As I have mentioned before little lambs do grow up to become sheep (surprise, surprise). Edward has grown up to become just that, a monster of a sheep. Edward never made it back into the mob with all the other sheep. He's just like one of those kids who just doesn't want to leave home. Eddie is a free roaming sheep. His favourite hideout is on the concrete underneath the new silo. He makes a trip up to the houseyard almost everyday. Basically he enjoys the silos (particularly any grain underneath them), the old hay bales (he likes to climb on top of them), the cedar tree and all our stone fruit trees (he stands on his hind legs so he can reach the higher leaves - he has already eaten the lower ones). Edward has also found the dam bank quite a nice place to particular in the evenings when he can watch the sunset (okay, that last bit might not actually be true).

Anyway, Edward has grown up to become 'Mr Fatso' the healthiest, fattest lamb/sheep we have.

If you are wondering whatever happened to Aimee, don't worry she's still alive. One day she just disappeared, she went and found the other sheep herself. I think she was sick of Edward being a baby and throwing tantrums. Although Aimee is at the other extreme to Edward, she is the smallest, skinniest lamb we have. This is probably due to her never really drinking much milk as a lamb. Her mother died when she was very little and started eating grass at a very early age so when we started looking after her she had lost her sucking ability already. Aimee and Edward are both happy, and that's all that matters.
